Stockdale Christian School Spring Concerts: SCS will be having their annual spring concert this Tuesday May 16th featuring the 4th-5th grades as well as amazing music by the instrumental program. The concert will start at 6:15 in the Sanctuary and they are free to all who attend!
Baby Bottle Campaign: It’s that time of year again! Today we have a table full of empty baby bottles in the church lobby. Please feel free to take one home, fill it with your spare change, and return it by Father’s Day. This special fundraiser supports the Bakersfield Pregnancy Center, so no donation is too big or too small!
Women’s Springtime Garden Party: All ladies young and old are welcome! We’ll be having our spring luncheon on Saturday, May 20th from 11:00-1:00. Tickets will on sale today in the lobby for $15 each. This year our guest speaker is Erin Rogers from the Bakersfield Pregnancy Center. This is a fundraiser to help raise money for our next retreat and help collect diapers for the Bakersfield Pregnancy Center. Please bring a pack of diapers, any size, or a new baby blanket to the event. We’re looking forward to seeing you there!
Men’s Golf Tournament: Saturday, May 27th at 8:00 AM (Registration at 7:30). Shotgun start. $75 includes lunch and prizes. 4-man teams but will include women. Signup in church lobby. Ladies Summer Bible Study: Please plan on joining us every Tuesday morning this summer, beginning June 6th at 10:00 AM for great fellowship and a time in the word. This will take place in Manor 1 Rec Room and it’s led by April Adams and Janet Stone. Come expecting great things!
Senior Life Luncheon: Save the date and plan on attending the next Senior Life Luncheon on Thursday, June 8th at 11:00 AM in the FMC. Cost for this event is $10 a person and tickets will be on sale in the lobby beginning Sunday, May 28th.
Embrace Grace Baby Shower: This ministry is for single women facing an unplanned pregnancy. We are celebrating these women who chose life for their babies. We would love all who can to participate in the baby shower on Saturday, June 9th at 5:30 PM. We need volunteers to help with supplying food, help with decorating, set up/clean up, and baby gifts for our mom to be. She is registered on Amazon and we are accepting donations for Amazon gift cards. Invitations with all the information, including a QR code to the registry are at the welcome center in the lobby.
